We had a very friendly welcome. This was an ideal stopover for us on our journey from Italy back to the UK.....We will certainly stay again probably for 2 nights next time to give us time to see this town properly...........excellent breakfast

I chose Union for its proximity to Buhlwegkirche Maria Ruh. But I was pleasantly surprised by the free private parking onsite. The self-serve breakfast buffet was also a great feature.

English speaker at check-in, but subsequent staff spoke only German. Communication was resolved with the proprietor later.

The total stay was pleasant overnight in a German town close to the French border. Climate control, an electronic key card, and TV in our twin room were useful during the stay. Near the train station, the location was excellent and perfect to the Old City of Offenburg.
